My first race as a BibRavePro 🎉 I was so excited when I got the yes, that I was chosen to run the Allstate Hot Chocolate Virtual 5k, this was very exciting for me.
I received my package by mail with my bib, an amazing hoodie, a keepsake medal {with a yummy 😋 surprise inside 🍫} and of course a goodie bag with hot chocolate powder mix, a snack and hydrate tablet. The swag was amazing!
I started training for the race by going on walks and small runs around my neighborhood and by doing a lot of yoga. The night before I did yoga, some foam rolling and stretches.
Race day I drank my hydration drink, got my BibravePro tank and started to warm up and I was ready!
This race was a big milestone for me because running is very challenging for me. I did stop a couple of times to stretch my IT band, but I was able to keep going and actually ran until the finish line. My times: 37 minutes and 55 seconds / 12:10 per mile, and I’m very happy about it!

My overall experience was outstanding, I love that we ran for a great cause {St. Judes Research}. Can’t wait for next year!
