Super and Fun race. I signed for this race because I thought it would be super fun to dress up and to run inside Six Flags.
In total there were 4 BibRave Pros running the 5k. The morning of the race San Antonio decided to get super cold so I was not very excited about that.
I got there with fellow BibRavePro Juan, and it was freezing. We met with Venessa and Jenny.
Picked up out swag which consisted of a really nice running shirt and wrist bands, and got our bib numbers.
Before the race it was pretty entertaining with super hero contest which I participated in, but did not win :) Still I had an amazing time.
It was a beautiful day and the sunrise was spectacular. All of the sudden with excitement you don’t feel as cold anymore, the excitement was contagious.
Race started we went around the parking lot for like almost a mile and we enter the park. I really enjoyed that part. I had never been so it was a great experience.
With beautiful Christmas decorations and with the DC theme kept me going, motivated and entertained.
Then the big challenge started. We started running on this intense hill, at some point it the course got a little confusing and had to ask for correct directions. Climbed that hill and finally I felt warmed up. The views were spectacular and Seeing the roller coasters throughout the park was fun.
Finish line came into view and all of the sudden the race was done. Got really nice medal and snacks and took some fun pictures. It was getting pretty calf again and it was time to go.
I do have to come back but this time to get on the roller coasters because I didn't have the time to stay. Overall I had such a fabulous time!
